TVS Motor Company recently launched a revamped avatar of their popular feminine scooter, the Scooty Streak. The new Streak comes with new graphics, sharper headlamp and LED tail lamps. Apart from that, it has a contoured seat, lower than its predecessor's to provide better ergonomics to the ladies . To add to it's practicality, the Streak has now been given a mobile charger and lockable front glove box too. It was time that company brushed up the looks and features of the Scooty to keep up with the competition and hopefully, the new avatar of the Streak will attract new customers too.

Design of Yamaha SZ-R

The design of Yamaha SZ-R is same like the SZ-X, the only change will be that it will get front disc brake and new color combinations. Yamaha SZ-R comes with front disc brake, tachometer and has tank protector added to the fuel tank to make it appear even larger. The bike also has clear lens flasher, colored handle grip end bar, painted muffler end caps along with special graphics. Yamaha SZ-R competes with the likes of Bajaj XCD 135, Hero Honda Hunk, Suzuki Zeus and Honda Unicorn.

Engine of Yamaha SZ-R

Yamaha SZ-R is aimed to deliver power with comfort and might sport the 153cc engine from the FZ range. Previously it was expected Yamaha SZ-R will feature the 125cc engine from the Gladiator series but Obviously seeking buyers who are looking for more out of their commuter bikes Yamaha India decided to plonk the 153cc engine from FZ Series. So what they get is more power, comfort and styling. The engine of Yamaha SZ-R generates maximum power of 12 Bhp at 7500 rpm with maximum torque of 12.8 Nm at 4500 rpm.

Expected Fuel Economy of Yamaha SZ-R

It is expected that Yamaha SZ-R will return mileage of around 60-70 kmpl in mixed driving conditions.
