Yamaha TMax

Yamaha TMax

Yamaha has just made the TMax 530 scooter safer.
Last year they made it lighter and more powerful. Now they have added ABS to make it brake better in all road conditions. It is also better on scooters with automatic transmissions as there is no engine braking to help slow the vehicle.
The addition of ABS has added $500 to the price, but it is still about $500 cheaper than the BMW C 600 Sport with ABS. It comes in white or grey.
Yamaha Motor Australia marketing manager Laurie Carleton says the learner-approved status of the TMax will also attract newcomers who will benefit from the safety feature.
The new ABS front brakes feature supersport-grade 267mm discs and four-pot calipers, while on the back is a 282mm disc.

It has motorcycle-style telescopic front forks and rear shock to give it bike-like handling, while 15-inch wheels give it a plush ride and stability over potholes.
TMax 350 also gets an aggressive front end, new streamlined body panels, new five-spoke wheels, forged aluminium side stand, new rear-view mirrors a re-styled dashboard and a new instrument panel with a host of rider information.
It now comes with a restyled two-step adjustable windscreen, which is smaller yet has identical air
Yamaha also has a of genuine accessories, such  as a 39-litre top box with inner bag one-key operation, 22-litre console bag, passenger back rest, comfort seat in black and silver with red stitching, a sport screen, GPS stay, winter apron, engine cover, belt cover, aluminium foot panels, 12V DC outlet, grip warmers and battery chargers.
